1. Drink This! “Italian Screw”

Ingredients:
* 3 cubes Ice
* 1 1/2 oz Vodka
* 1 oz Galliano
* Fill with Orange juice

Directions:
Add 3 ice cubes or 2-3 oz. crushed ice to highball glass. Add 1 1/2 oz. Vodka. Add 1 oz. Galliano. Fill with pulpless orange juice.








2. Watch This! Lakeview Terrace

Samuel L. Jackson is one of the best actors that we have right now. He shows why he is the best in his new movie ‘Lakeview Terrace’. Jackson plays a cop that is the best at what he does in the department but when it comes to being a neighbor, he’s hell and a half. Kerry Washington co-stars in the action/thriller. I’m so excited to see all the things that he does to this couple that sends them flying over the edge.

3. Wear This! “Satin Drop Earrings”

These satin drop earrings are some of the cutest earrings that I’ve seen in a while. They have a shiny finish in the back with a satin finish in the front. You can find it at Forever 21 for $3.80.


























4. Hear This! “Musiq f/ Mary J. Blige - If You Leave”


Musiq Soulchild is back and he has one of the best voices in R&B on his track. This song is one you can groove to and make you think all at the same time. We all know Musiq Soulchild loves to do songs about relationships and he has struck gold with this one, especially with the extra touch of adding Mary J. Blige.

5. Do This! “Watch The Emmy’s”


The 60th annual Emmy’s are coming on this Sunday September 21st at 8/7 central on ABC. So make you make a party out of it while cheering on your favorite televison star!

Easy Cooking: Rice Pilaf

>Alright love muffins I know it has been a while since I have brought you a delicious treat but now Easy Cooking is back. This week we are going to look at Rice Pilaf. It sounds kind of complicated but it is actually a very simple dish. If you are trying to impress someone for dinner and you want to be a little “fancy” like you can really cook, try this treat. Work Your Weekend!

1. Drink This! “Strawberry Lemonade”

Ingredients:
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
1 cup fresh lemon juice
1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
2 cups cold sparkling water or club soda
Ice

Directions:
In a medium saucepan, bring the water and sugar to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves. Add the lemon peel and lemon juice, stir, and remove from the heat. Let cool completely, then strain into a clean pitcher.

In a blender, puree the pint of strawberries and add to the pitcher with the lemon juice. Stir well to combine and refrigerate until well chilled.

Add the sparkling water and stir well. Pour over glasses filled with ice and serve, garnished with mint and strawberries.

Tyler Perry, with all his plays and movies, has built almost a billion dollar empire. Yes love muffins, I said a billion dollar empire! He’s up there with Oprah, maybe that’s why they were seen together in Italy over a month ago. I’m not trying to start nothing, I was just saying. Make sure you see his movie A Family That Preys over the weekend.

5. Do This! “Cardio For 30 Minutes”


In order to clear your mind and help your body too, sometimes a little cardio can help. I’m not saying go and do a whole Tae-Bo routine but maybe just a brisk walk or a stationery bike to get your heart pumping could do a world of good. So pull out those sneakers and go to work.

Ingredients:
1/2 ounce rum
1/2 ounce coconut-flavored rum
1/2 ounce grenadine syrup
1 ounce orange juice
1 ounce pineapple juice
1 cup crushed ice

Directions:
Blend regular rum, coconut rum, grenadine, orange juice, pineapple juice and crushed ice until the texture is like a slush.


2. Watch This! Bangkok Dangerous

Nicholas Cage is starting off the fall movie season with this action/thriller movie. Bangkok Dangerous is supposed to be one of those high paced movies with a lot of edge of your seat moments. I hope that it is all about the hype because Nicholas Cage is a great actor, despite the terrible hair cut they have him sporting in this movie.

This top is super duper cute and it is the very thing you need to look like a star with the fraction of the cost. 5. Do This! “Watch The VMA’s”


The moment we’ve all been waiting for is coming up on this Sunday. The VMA’s usually are an awards show that pleases almost every time. This year again, Britney Spears is opening the show but not in the way that we are used to seeing her. She’s not singing this year and I want to know who I can complain to about that (or is she). Brit Brit has been looking great lately and might just be ready for real this time to perform. Check your local listings for time.

1. Drink This! “Mondo Mango Smoothie”

Ingredients:
* 1/2 cup pineapple juice
* 1 cup orange sherbet
* 1 banana
* 2 cups mango, sliced
* 2 cups ice
* 1 teaspoon lime juice

Directions:
Place the juice and fruit in a blender. Blend on high speed for 30 seconds. Add the ice and blend until smooth.


2. Watch This! Babylon A.D.

Vin Diesel is back and is more sexy than ever in this new movie where he of course is playing the super orgasmic hero. In this movie he is hired as a mercenary to deliver a package from the ravages of post-apocalyptic Eastern Europe to a destination in the teeming megalopolis of New York City. The “package” is a mysterious young woman with a secret.

3. Wear This! “Shirred Sleeveless Dress”

This dress is super duper cute and it is the cutest thing to wear to the club this weekend. It’s short, it’s cute and even better it is all of this for a very cheap price. 4. Hear This! “Raphael Saadiq - Staying In Love”


Raphael Saadiq is back and doing it again with this new single “Staying In Love”. This has a very old feel to it, it’s a very throwback feel. I totally love the groove that Raphael is sending out with his much anticipated album. Super sexy, talented, and oh so orgasmic.

5. Do This! “Enjoy A Good Book”


Snuggle up with a good book that you can read before or pick up one that you have been meaning to read that looks interesting. I know it’s Labor Day weekend and that you are probably going to go out and party or to a barbecue. Either before or after all that, make sure that you take time for yourself to just relax and read to take yourself to that other place.

1. Drink This! “Fruit Salad Daiquiri”

Ingredients:
5 oz light rum
2 oz pina colada mix
strawberries
watermelons

Directions:
Fill blender 1/2 to 3/4 full with ice and add strawberries, pieces of watermelon, and slices of star fruit. Last add rum and pina colada mix. Blend until smooth and garnish with a slice of star fruit and an umbrella.


2. Watch This! The Longshots

Ice Cube has done it again in the family movie department. Talented young actress Keke Palmer is his co-star in this one. Ice Cube is playing Keke’s down and out uncle that ends up coaching a football team. He soon discovers her natural talent for it and she goes on to be the quarterback. This should be a good one for the family this weekend.
