Another Dating Reality Show!

Okay, I really don’t know what to say about this catastrophe that is these brothers. Everyone remembers Real and Chance from VH-1’s I Love New York. Well they have gotten together with their brother Love and they are going to have a reality show. The brothers that call themselves ‘The Stallionaires’ will follow the tradition of the desperate reality dating shows before them, and move 15 ladies in the house to fight for their love. This should be interesting to see if they can find women that are prettier than what they think they are. Do any of you think that you will watch?

Clooney To Return To ER?!

George Clooney played Dr. Doug Ross on NBC’s ER from 1994-1999 and was wanted to return for the show’s final season. Take me higher lord - he made one of the sexiest doctors that I have ever seen. Right now it looks like he has rejected the offer to return for any episodes. His rep responds that “he is busy making movies now”. George has the status in Hollywood, that if he wanted to make an appearance, he could. Would you like to see George scrub up again?

Spinoff for ‘Girls Next Door’?!

Hugh Hefner’s Girls Next Door playmates could have their own spinoff. That’s not the kicker, Kendra Wilkinson is leaving the playboy mansion and wants her own show, but Holly and Bridget might get one too. Nothing is confirmed and I’m sure it will premiere on E! if this is true. For now, Hugh, Holly and Bridget are gearing up for their third season premiere October 5th. Would you watch a spinoff of all three of the girls individually?

TRL Canceled!

Yes love muffins it is true, TRL has been canceled, MTV confirmed on Monday. Carson Daly started the countdown show ten years ago in 1998 and now it has run it’s course and will be no more. Sorry to say, but it seems that MTV has taken off the last little bit of music that they had left on the Music Television channel. The finale will be on a Saturday in November and will be two hours long. So sorry to see it go, but it just proves all things must come to an end. On the bright side, you can still tune in to BET’s 106 and Park. Thoughts?

Want Fame? Get Reality!

Everyday it seems a new star emerges, but they’ve achieved a level of super stardom by being themselves, or some variation of it. Reality shows are spitting out “stars” left and right. Many people are going on reality shows to introduce their characters and make a name for themselves not for the million dollar prize or the a title as “the next best something”. One person in particular would be “Jonny Fairplay” a.k.a Jon Dalton.

I feel personally that I raped reality television and I’m happy about that. The million dollars was never my primary goal. My goal was to create the character of ‘Jonny Fairplay’ and keep that character on television for as long as possible.

Jon said he receives $2,000 to $15,000 to appear at nightclubs, conventions, and on other TV shows. With that income he’s able to afford a three-bedroom house in his hometown of Danville, Va. and the ability to care for his wife and baby daughter. Love muffins there are just too many people to name who have become famous off of reality television. Some we may forget about in a few months, others we’ll remember longer. What do you think about stars emerging from something that wasn’t really designed to make stars?

Keith, Natasha, & Usher Kick Off!

Usher, Keith Urban and Natasha Bedingfield will kick off the NFL season with a free concert in today in Manhattan’s Columbus Circle. The NFL will air portions of the concert live on its network prior to Thursday night’s game between the Giants and the Washington Redskins at Giants Stadium! I am so excited and anxious to see what Usher has planned for this HUGE venue, considering the fact that he’s busy gearing up for more a intimate concert. Love muffins will you be tuning in?
