Reading About Herself

‘I’m not really sure what people’s preconceived notions are. I don’t look at the gossip websites – it’s unhealthy and I think it’s a large part of what drives people in LA crazy. I’m an actress, I’m in this to find the next great project. The fact is, I’m having a real life and being a normal human being.’

Lowest Point In Her Life

‘It was a low point in my life. The truth of the matter is, I was being irresponsible to begin with – I moved to LA and never got a licence,’ she explains. ‘I don’t know, it was just an awful low for me. I apologized - and you have to just hope that that’s enough. People make mistakes, you know?’

Mischa Barton graced the August 2008 issue of Nylon magazine rocking an edged out cowgirl look while Kate Moss looked divine on the August issue of Vogue. Both ladies have had their trouble with substance abuse in the past and seem to be doing quite fine at the moment.

Mischa Barton, Nylon:

“That was a low point for me. I never, ever would have thought I would be arrested,” she says in the August issue of Nylon of the December incident. “I was disappointed because it associated me with a group of girls that I would rather not be associated with”

Kate Moss, Vogue:

“I like making money. But I don’t call people up every day to see how much I’ve made. As long as I have what I need at the time; I mean, I can buy the house that I want. I am not completely money-oriented…All that dressing up makes me say, ‘What do I want to wear? What do I want to do with Topshop?’ ” she says. “It all kind of leads into the other things.”

It was star studded event in United Kingdom on Thursday night during The 10th Annual White Tie and Tiara Ball benefit the Elton John Aids Foundation. Jada Pinkett-Smith rocked out in black for that nights event - a much better choice then the green ensemble she wore to Nelson Mandela’s birthday party. Will Smith and Denzel Washington just look orgasmic! The years might have crept up on Denzel, but he still looks sexy! Mischa Barton looked like a little angel with her beaded head piece. Several celebrities attended the ‘A Time For Heroes’ event for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation in Los Angeles on Sunday. Mischa Barton wore wings to the event, probably to fly away and disappear from camera hogging Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt. The Cheetah Girls Sabrina Bryan, Adrienne Bailon and Kiely Williams looked super duper cute in their cowgirl inspired ensembles. Nicole Richie and her baby daddy Joel Madden looked comfortable - I know Nicole probably missed her little one. The elegant and stunning Beyonce also attended the Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala on Monday in New York City. Ever since she tied the knot with her long time boyfriend, Jay Z, she hasn’t been seen out that much lately (I am super duper excited about her new album). Love muffins, many celebrities attended the 2008 MTV Australia Awards today in Sydney, Australia. Kim Kardashian posed for the cameras on the red carpet in a silver sequence dress. I am glad that she only wore earrings, because too much bling would have been way to much for my eyes to deal with. I think Leona Lewis looks splendiferous in her dress with simple jewelry as well. Now Mishca look is not for her! It looks like she made a dress out of a trash bag and threw on a coat that looks just as bad. Take me higher lord! Eve looks fierce in her dress. Work it girl! Wyclef! What? What?! What is going on here? No, I am through, I am so through!

It’s like she just rolled out the bed, slipped on her clothes, and headed towards the door. Ok, I give it to her for combing her hair. Love muffins, maybe if she strutted her stuff like with the attitude that this outfit was the greatest thing ever made, I might believe it and I might even like it. Wyclef Jean looks like he is some kind of super hero. All he is missing is a red cape. Who you trying to save Wyclef? Eve, worked it! She looks sexy and cool, like “yeah you know I’m the sh*t“. Yes Eve, your fashion is mostly always on point! When are you dropping your album? Your label is tripping! I don’t know who this is man is all dressed in white, but it looks like his ding ding can’t breath! Let it breath boo boo, let it breath!

Mischa Barton Gets Off With DUI!

Mischa Barton will accept a plea deal in her DUI case, sparing her any jail time, a source tells PEOPLE. The former O.C. star will plead no contest to DUI at her arraignment Thursday in Beverly Hills court, and agree to serve a three-year unsupervised probation term, the source says.
Barton will also be sentenced to a three-month alcohol-education class, and pay a fine of approximately $1,700. In addition, a marijuana possession charge against the actress will be dropped, due to the small amount found. Another charge of driving without a license will be reduced to an infraction, according to the source.
