Jessica Simpson Released From Hospital!

Love muffins, according to People.com, Jessica went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday after suffering a fever.

It turns out that the singer was suffering from an infection in her kidney. It is good to know that her rep states that she was released “and is doing fine.” Take me higher lord! I hope that she really is doing fine!

Jessica Simpson Returning To Television?

Love muffins, Jessica may indeed return to the small screen. She is in talks with Country Music Television (CMT) to share the releasing of her album that she is currently finishing. Simpson’s father hinted that she was coming back for a reality t.v. show, but according to a rep for Jessica, she is not for a reality show…there’s no truth whatsoever to there being a reality show.

Jessica Simpson Records Country Album?!

Jessica Simpson is getting back to her roots. The singer has begun recording a country album in Nashville, Billboard reports.

“I am a country girl,” she told the magazine. “I grew up in Texas, and country music was what I listened to. I always wanted to wait until the time was right.”

She also adds

“Writing is a release for me,” she said. “It’s a way for me to tell my story. That’s not to say I wouldn’t record a song that I didn’t write. It’s just that it has been a while since I have opened the book.”

This should be interesting. I guess when your pop albums and movies aren’t selling, record a country album and hope for the best! Thoughts?

Best Of 2007: Biggest Diasappoints!

Being the optimist I am, I usually try to approach everything in life with a positive attitude but sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade. For every high expectation I had this year, there were equally horrible disappointment waiting around the corner. Nothing seemed to embody this sentiment more than Britney Spears at the VMAs. Terrell Owens Is A Punk!

Love muffins remember yesterday I reported on how earlier in thew week Terrell Owens of the Dallas Cowboys fumed that Jessica Simpson should not attend their football games and that she’s not wanted. In fact he said , “Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite — in this locker room or in Texas Stadium. I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away. Other than that, she was high on my list until last week.”

It’s funny how things can literally change overnight! Well he is now taking what he said about Jessica back!

He’s now saying it was all a joke, “I tried to get (Romo) to call her so I can explain to her that she doesn’t really know me and that I can be funny. And that everything I say, the media will take it and run with it. It’s not a big deal. I will try to rectify the situation between her and I.”

T.O. “Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite!”

Terrell Owens always has something to say when everybody knows he needs go somewhere and sit his fine a$$ down! Well, Tony Romo just so happened to play the worst game of his career when Jessica Simpson rocking a pink jersey baring his number on it decided to showed up to support him last weekend. So Tony’s Dallas Cowboys teammate, Terrell Owens, said Jessica needs to stay at home!

When questioned about Jessica’s presence at their game, the loud-mouth said, “Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite — in this locker room or in Texas Stadium.”

But this time T.0. might have a point, Tony’s previous worst game was last year when Carrie Underwood showed up to cheer him on. Terrell continued saying, “With everything that has happened, obviously with the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away. Other than that, she was high on my list until last week.”

“Oh, I got a message for her when we make the playoffs. Just stay tuned.”

Damn, Jessica just can’t win - a failed marriage, dumped by John Mayer, back to back movie and album flops and now this! If I were Jessica I would ring the alarm on T.O. big-time, I would say, “don’t be coming be over here getting all up in between me and my future baby because I will cut you b@#ch!” So, love muffins does T.O. have a point - should Jessica stay at home?

Tony Romo Needs A New Good Luck Charm

Jessica Simpson scored almost as much screen time as Tony Romo during the Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday, cheering on her new lover from the luxury box. Unfortunately, Romo ended the game with the worst quarterback rating of his entire career, just 22.2. Funnily enough, his second lowest rating was December 2006 when then girlfriend Carrie Underwood was cheering him on in the stands.

Maybe Tony should keep his professional life and his personal life seperate… those southern blonde pop singers can be quite the distraction!
