Mariah Carey Replaces Janet On SNL!

The diva of all divas, Mariah Carey, will be this week’s musical guest on Saturday Night Live with Jonah Hill as a guest host. Mimi is replacing Janet Jackson who dropped out due to having the flu as previously reported, but Janet will be back in may to host and perform.
This will be Mimi’s first appearance on the show in over ten years. Her previous appearances were in 1990, 1991 and 1997. Saturday Night Live airs live from New York this Saturday, March 15, at 11:30pm EST on NBC.

Janet Jackson is taking it easy following her bout with the flu. The pop star who paid a visit to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Monday night after falling ill, has decided to cancel an upcoming Saturday Night Live appearance originally scheduled for Saturday, her rep confirms to PEOPLE. After dropping a great #1 album Janet probably needs a little rest! Get better boo!

Word on the street is that Janet Jackson and Ciara may be teaming up to do a video for the unofficial remix of Feedback. This week “Feedback” was the biggest sales gainer and jumped from 53 to 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. The rumor is that Def Jam would like the video to be shot sometime next week to build on the momentum of the song. Thoughts?
