Youtube Spotlight: Rachel Dupard
September 22, 2008
Love muffins when I first heard this girl’s voice it almost knocked me down, that’s how strong it is. It kind of gives you an old gospel feel like we do it down south. For those of you that don’t know, some good old hand clapping and toe tapping sanging. Yes I said sanging, because she is just that good. When Rachel Dupard gets older and she becomes more experienced in her music, she will be a force to be reckoned with. If you like what you heard please visit and support her Youtube channel.

She sounds ok, but there are some pitch and tone errors that could be corrected. The raspiness ofher voice is something I can appreciate, though. Nice for a teenager, but she still has room to grow.

“When Rachel Dupard gets older and she becomes more experienced in her music, she will be a force to wrecking with.”
B. did u have some shutyomouth potion?? “FORCE TO BE RECKONED WITH” not “force to be wrecking with” lol. Someone posted a screenshot of that on their blog and was tryin to roast you so I came here to tell you the correct ‘phrase’ in case you want to use it in the future.

She sounds very good! I like the raspiness of her voice, but with some music lessons, she’ll be so much better! To be so young, her voice sounds soo mature!

Yea, keep in mind she is still growing. If that is what she can deliver now, just think with vocal training and polishing what she will be.
I got chills listening to her because she seemed to “feel” the song, which many young, talented singers don’t seem to be able to do. And I was shocked at the huskiness too (yes, very Lauren Hill indeed).
