How can you say Rihanna did a good job? She looks good but thats it! Her performance was terrible, she livened up a little for her song with T.I but even then she was still dull dull dull!

I’m a Ristan….lol but I wasn’t crazy about the Disturbia song… I think most of the problems came from the sound system… it was off for everyone and it threw everyone off… it was still a good performance… when they picked up ole girl and carried her across the stage I stood up and clapped…
Her performance with TI…. Rihanna has so much swag it RIDICULOUS!!!!! She stole that performance…. from when she came up out the floor she was killing it… the crowd was hyped and it was a good performance… can y’all tell which performance I liked….lol

She is not a powerhouse powerful, be honest B. I know you’re of these fan, but also show their faults. Disturbia was dull, she couldn’t dance. She had all the makings of a perfect performance but lacked in the dancing department. Her second perform with t.i. was much better, although she didn’t dance, but just bob her head. Overall the VMA’s was boring. Nothing spectular. Don’t sell your soul for these celebrities to like you, you might need it. This is not a hate comment either, just calling it how I see it .After this is a love-muffin community, and one of your love muffin is speaking.

i think she did great sticking to herself. i actually like the dull dryness. its rihanna. it would honestly feel akward if she was all happy and stuff. this is disturbia. the song is suppose to be sang with lethargic and dull actions. i think she went with the concept of the song.

The performance could have had more pop to it like the video. I know of many other artists that would have tore that song up live….
But isn’t it ironic how when Britney performed last year, Rihanna was laughing. Now the roles are reversed and I’m sure Britney was giggling at her dry performance.

i think rihanna should have lipsynced this one or should have had a mic that amplified her vocals since the song is sythesized in the first place. everyone knows that this girl is no whitney houston but i think she did her thing as best as she could. she has come a long way and i love anyone right now who’s been able to come up in the game and hasn’t succumbed that who “be like beyonce” bs!

Lawwwwd….i was embarassed for her. What was going on with her voice? it seems as though she couldn’t sing some of the notes, the music was drowning her, she wasn’t really dancing and again…what happened to her voice???
U know i’ve always liked to think that rihanna has talent but that talent is only evident after 30 takes in the recording studio on one song! the girl cannot perform live.

i love riri but i do agree there has got to be a point where u say to urself im gonna use a backing track. she shoulda lip synched this one for real and went the hell off performance wise. when ur vocals are as weak as hers u can only concentrate on one thing at a time and i gusss she got loss somewhere in btw. still love her though an di absolutely loved her TI performance

Wow she cannot sing. She was better off lipsyncing for REAL. I don’t get it, on the track she sounds great but live she sounds a mess. Don’t they practice the songs live before they perform them? I don’t understand. Where is her vocal coach. She need to learn how to breath. The girl doesn’t even dance and she’s out of breath. She needs stamina and control over her voice. Wow…it’s not all about how she looks like. She needs talent to carry it off. Not good.
