Rihanna Picks Up Another Nomination!

Rihanna rocked it out while getting lunch at Popeye’s sporting a super duper cute Betty Boop shirt. I love this ensemble - amazing with the big hoop earrings. Recently Rihanna picked up another nomination for MTV’s VMA in the Best Direction category for her hit single “Take A Bow”. Thoughts? View more pictures after the jump -

take a bow isnt the best directed video, its very simple and obvious…they should give it to a better video

Um really no one’s hating. Take a Bow was boring, see I understand if it was Disturbia NOW that video is nice. But Take a Bow…more like Take a Snore zzz…

i agree with nikki, i love me some “fivehead” but take a bow didnt seem like it took much of anything. Disturbia is a muc better choice

I’m going to keep it as real as I possibly can. Rihanna is gorgeous and her style is hot. BUT PLEASE THIS GIRL CAN NOT SING. And they didn’t say she was nominated for any vocal skills. So someone may be feeling that video.

I think the simplicity of Take A Bow is what they’re giving this video a nod for. It was eloquently simple. The wood on the walls, the spectacular car, the dark intro and her in a simple black top, the contrast of her in with little or no make-up to the gorgeous shot of her with the deep red lipstick…It was a great video without any extra hoopla…and I never gave Rihanna credit for singing, but she now I have to admit she has the creative ability to make songs fit her style. She deserves much credit for her creativity.
