Yesterday, Solange set the record straight on how everything went down with her and the Fox anchor woman Wednesday. Now Fox feels like they need to set the record straight on their end.
Just minutes before her interview, the station ran a tease piece on the breaking news that the Vegas branch of Jay-Z’s club 40/40 was officially closing down. So Solange started complaining about being linked to her “brother-in-law’s establishment” until a producer interrupted and told her that the tease wasn’t live and hadn’t even run yet. Another oops…Apparently, Knowles’ peeps were apologetic about the diva-like outburst, although no official statement was made and a request for comment was not immediately returned. A source close to Solange told Pop Tarts that the songstress hasn’t really had any media training, is “coddled” by her label and is spoiled to the point that she gets whatever she wants. We’ve also been warned that quite a few FOX outlets have gotten an attitude from Knowles as she apparently isn’t a fan of the network, but is still willing to use us to promote her album…Fox News

Regardless what was said, she’s in the lime light now, and trying to make a name for herself. She needs to grow the fuck up, and move on.
There are lots of interviewers like oprah who poke more questions into people that are worse than the lame intro story that was before solange, and they handle it with class and professional wit.
Personally, she should appologize to that woman, calling her unprofessional.. but the only one i saw who was unprofessional was Solange.

i co-sign “yes” above, Solo needs to get over herself, and call the hell down. Even in her answer-to-Fox video, she was salty. What the hell does she have to be so nasty about? Looks to me like she lives a pretty blessed life, and NOT because of anything SHE’S done.

I don’t get how different Fox’s version is than Solange’s? She said the same thing. Bottom line though, it could’ve been edited out but they still chose to air it as live.

I’m with Misz KiKi on that. I won’t be picking up a damn thing. Her album can sit on the stands. I’m not supporting any cocky no talents. Be happy your sister is Beyonce and embrace it because she is the only reason anyone is paying attention to you. You would not have the same opportunities being presented to you otherwise.

She could’ve handled it a bit better, but she thought she was being disrespected and embarrassed on TV. All she could go by was what was going on in her earpiece, and she thought that everything said was live…in which case it probably would be a very unprofessional introduction. As a person in the spotlight, you always need to keep your cool…but I do like how she wasn’t afraid to speak up for herself.

Solange is a sister and most of us will say is what is on our minds. She felt disrespected and she spoke up about it. I think we should be proud about that and love her more! Looks like a strong woman to me. As far as her being spoiled! Ummmm….the bitch is rich! Anyway, Solange has more talent in her left hand then Beyonce in her hold body, so please….

She is the reason why Michelle album was bumped, it doesn’t matter what is said or goes down, she is spoiled you can see in the way she talks and her I don’t give a damn attitude, my sister is beyonce, my brother-in law is Jayz and my mom tina and dad mathew. Michelle and Kelly I can’t wait until you guys come out with a tell all on this chick. She is a trip!!! I was going to by e the album but I am not, not that I matter that much but hey, that’s on less and if she keeps it up which she will, she will loose many more. FOx told the truth on that little girl!!!!

See, I was going to purchase her album, but now: nope. Im sorry, but I refuse to support someone who has no humble beginnings. Shes barely even breaking into the industry and she ALREADY feels like the world owes her something. The only thing we owe her is the fact that shes really pay homage to soul music. Other than that, she has nothing more than a dim light. Im not hating, i just dont think that Beyonce nor Kelly or even Michelle would have reacted in that manner. I mean, even if it was playful like, “:Now why did yall put me on after that segment LOL” then I would have been laughing along. But she came off as if she has been in the industry making HITS for years, like, Anita Baker years. Bitch—> if you dont get the hell out of here.
So nope, unless someone burns me a copy…i wont be giving her any of my change in my pocket, and whats sad is that im sure their are thousands of others who are thinking the same way now.

watching her reaction at first, i was mad at her. but once she explained how it all actually went down, i understand y she reacted the way she did. everybody is about ratings. and they were planning on asking her about JayZ’s situation and she let them know in advance not to. and someone told her she was live…as she stated in her explanation.
