August 28, 2008

After recent speculation about Usher’s third single from his latest album Here I Stand, it looks like “What’s Your Name” featuring Will.I.Am has been selected as his next single since radio stations have already started to add the song to their playlist. Do you think this song has what it takes to be move his album up on the charts?

    I think Trading Spaces would have been a better track to release as a single. That song is just catchy, and sexy

    I hope he has another hit from this album. Even though Usher is the ultimate entertainer, I feel this recent album was a mixed bag. It didn’t feel like usher really returned to me. Not as superb as 8701 and Confessions.

    This should have been the singles in order

    1. LITC -> February
    2. LITC Pt 2. -> April
    3. A dual single approach
    Rnb/Hip hop stations -> What’s a Man 2 do
    Pop: What’s your name - > July
    4. Before I met you-> October
    5. Appetite-> January

    He would have sold 3-4 million nicely. Anyway he should amp this project again and also release a stronger album next year which connects to all ages. Don’t come back with another album in 4 years b/c people will forget your potential usher
