Why Won’t Jay-Z Confirm Marriage?

Jay-Z finally confirms his marriage by not confirming it in the September issue of Vibe magazine.

I just think it’s really a part of your life that you gotta keep to yourself,” he tells Vibe in their September issue. “You have to have something sacred to you and the people around you,” the 38-year-old adds. “I shared so much of my life… I should have something to hold on to.” US

I strongly agree, because once everyone knows your personal life it will be hard for a marriage to last. As much as I want to actually hear it from his lips or Beyonce’s, pictures are proof enough with them both wearing wedding rings.Thoughts?

I just wish the media would leave them alone. Its really none of our business. And we already know that they are married, no need to keep asking them to confirm.

As long as they keep releasing good music thats all that matters.

I totally disagree. Dating can be a secret, but marriage - no way. You should be proud of the person God has given you to love. I mean, you don’t have to be a Will&Jada and tell all your business, but by not acknowledging your marriage, it seems so fake.

i actually think it’s more fake to play it up in the media. why do you want people you dont know all in your business. the more you tell the more they talk. will/jada haven’t even been saved from that because of their openness. whenever there is a swingers conversation, who pops up. like ms glitterati said, we already know so them saying yes we are doesn’t make it any more powerful. just pop out a baby already! lol

They are one strange couple, i mean marriage is something you atleast confirm once. Jay-z was acting so weird on johnathan ross show, i thought that was a lil out of the norm for him to be so secretive about the whole thing. Admitting to ure relationship doesn’t mean an automatic road to destroying ure relationship. I think they both are in a sad state of mind where they feel like hiding there marriage is what will keep it safe and secure.

as far as those wedding rings, one would think that they would have better rings than that..I could barely see that copper wire with that 1/4” diamond she had twisted around her finger as a wedding ring! Mine can be seen from afar…Oh well, could be because I opted to marry a foreigner.

Well I am not sure such a secret b/c what God put together no man can tear apart… But Maybe down the line he’ll formerly say something.. But with the tabloids and the paps capturing everything they can why do they need to say anything? the people they love the most know thats all that matters
