Hate It or Love It: Katherine Heigl

July 14, 2008

Katherine Heigl did a little shopping at Neiman Marcus wearing a print skirt, tan top, and brown boots Sunday afternoon. Rumored has it that her character on the hit series Grey’s Anatomy might be killed off. I wonder if it has anything to do with her declining to be in the running for an Emmy due to the lack of written material! If that is the case, she appeared to be in good spirits when trying on shoes and carrying piles of shopping bags. My question to you is - do you hate her ensemble or love it? i don’t hate the outfit in its entirety, just the boots killed it, if she had worn some sweet espadrilles or other cute wedge or even some flat thong sandals or something that ties to the look it would’ve been way better

That skirt was ugly 4 years ago when they were popular and today paired with boots, in the L.A Summer heat, makes it beyond whack!

It accentuates her shape very nicely. It wouldn’t be bad with a different style shirt and with some sandals instead of those boots.

I love it. I mean she looks really good in it, and although I am not usually a fan of the long skirts, with the boots it looks a little retro, but in a way that I think works. And I like it because it’s subtle, and it shows that you don’t have to wear a super short skirt or some high heels to look good
