Jay-Z Responds To Amy!

Jay-Z has responded to Amy Winehouse’s attack on Kanye West this past weekend at the Glastonbury Festival. Amy introduced Jay-Z to the stage by saying:

“Imagine if it was a c*nt like Kanye West. ‘C*nts like Kanye’ should be his next album title.”

Jay-Z told MTV.com:

“She said something about Kanye late on (in her set) but I didn’t hear it and I don’t agree with it. He’s my brother and the biggest artist on Roc-a-fella (records) right now. I guess I should hook them up because he’s a great guy too. I don’t know what the problem is - I don’t know where that (comment) came from.”

Jay-Z was very respectful and nice in his response to Amy, he could’ve been a whole lot harder on her. I think he understands her battle with drugs and her health right now, so he is letting her slide. Love muffins, thoughts?

You know what? That reminds me of a similar incident that happened some years ago with Deon Sanders and a sortscaster who always laid into him on his sets. Eventually Deon responded by taking the high road and in so many words telling the sportscaster that he needn’t address him with the same level of immaturity because he’s more respected than him, earns more money than him and will be on the scene long after he is gone. It’s the same situation with Jay Z and Winehouse. Jay Z is a respected hip hop artist and entrepeneur. Amy Winehouse is a crack ho with money. ‘Nuff said.

What, the OLD Jay would’ve did a freaking WHOLE diss track on her azz but the NEW BUSINESS man see’s pass all the hoopla and keep it straight professional.

I am really not Jay Z fan, but I can appreciate how he handled this. And he spoke the truth! Amy is in no shape to diss anyone. I would have told her dirty azz to give Elvis is swag back. She needs to respect black music since she’s so obviously influenced by it.

Jay-Z showed how much class he has. He didn’t react negatively to her comment. When people come at us negatively, reacting negatively or seeking revenge won’t bring resolutions. The he handled it is how changes can be made. That’s what’s up

Ok Jay took the high road yes, however I am still waiting for Kayesha’s bitch ass to respond. He’s a punk! A GAY punk!
