Amy Diagnosed With Deadly Disease!

Love muffins, remember I told you Amy Winehouse was hospitalized last week after fainting in her home? Then it was rumored she was diagnosed with having tuberculosis, but she tested negative for TB, proving those rumors false. Well I am sad to report that Amy has been diagnosed with emphysema! Amy’s father Mitch and her publicist Chris Goodman went to the press to report on Amy’s condition. Mitch Winehouse told a London newspaper:
“The doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won’t just ruin her voice, it will kill her. With smoking the crack cocaine and the cigarettes her lungs are all gunked up. There are nodules around the chest and dark marks. She’s got 70 percent lung capacity.”
This is so unfortunate! Emphysema is an irreversible chronic disease of the lungs, the best thing to do if you are diagnosed with it is to stop smoking all together to slow down it’s progression. I hope this can be the wake up call that Amy needs to quit drugs for good! Her father is urging that all of her drug dealers and drug taking friends, including Pete Doherty, stay away from her when she is released from the hospital.
“I’m saying to those drug dealers, and they know who they are, if they are supplying crack to Amy, then they’ve got to take responsibility. I don’t want her hanging out with her mates like Pete Doherty either.”
Take me higher Lord! These drugs are just not worth it Love Muffins! People are putting their lives at risk for a temporary high. Thoughts?

This is so sad. I was so in love with her when she released “Frank”. Now this is just breaking my heart. Emphysema is a nasty disease and I’ve had to watch a relative go through it. Just sad that she did this to herself.

I have no sympathy for her, she brought it to herslef. She is a mess, a trainwreck.
But I really hope she does the James bond sountrack, she has a unique voice afterall and is the closest thing we’ll get vocally to shirley bassie.

Hopefully now she’ll take some control of her life. I feel for her parents…imagine seeing your child hit rock bottom like this.

She brought this on herself which is what has to be killing the people who love her and care about her health, since she doesn’t seem to. Maybe now she’ll get on track. It’s sad when you reach a point of “Stop or die” with an addiction–chick is WAY BEYOND rock bottom! If she keeps doing it, she must want to die.

Amy was so talented. She is going to die before becoming a legend. Amy will be remembered for being a relentless junkie, instead of a ground breaking singer.

I hope she decides to take care of herself, I would hate for her life to end tragically like some of the singers of the past due to drugs. I am going to keep her in my prayers.
