New Video: Kanye West - Flashing Lights

Kanye has finally released his third video for “Flashing Lights” from his album Graduation. I like this video concept - I love all the concepts in all three videos. This third video has more of a dark theme, but it works. Which version do you like better?

I’m sorry, but I really think the videos have been over hyped. They’re essentially all just stylized imagery, and there’s nothing new. The first one was the “Femme Fatale” and second one was the “Ruined Rich Girl” and now I guess this one is all about decayed gentry. This is just padding. It in no way exposes anything new about the song or it’s meaning. It’s just so he can show us how cool he is.

Check Kanye’s Blog. He’s a tad bit pissy that the video leaked. I still like #1. By the way, where’s the R. Kelly remix video? It’s my favorite version of the song.

This was my fav of the 3 with the 1st being my next fav! I think Kanye is a genius and has done so much in Hip Hop!

okay out of the three.. this is the best…

still my favorite song…. still mad that there isn’t a video to represent it.

this video reminds me of the movie haunted honeymoon… is that his inspiration?

i understand he is tryin’ to look beyond the words in the song… to not literally mean what he said.. be he has to understand .. when people are singing the song.. they are imaging how the video is coming to light….

so when they see these three… they aren’t impressed… and i have a feeling he did three to try and cover the three things he wanted to take from the song.. but didn’t unfortunatly it wasn’t a good fit..

everyone has a right to their own opinion.. but back it up with something.. not that its a “good video” or.. because kanye is “fresh”.. we all know that..

I like all 3, they are all artistic and on the darkside, the last one is just like CLUE but on an acid trip LOL The 2nd one makes the most sense to me though, poor kanye is noticeably darker with his videos now that his mom has passed away
