America’s obvious favorite contestant of the two was David Cook and he is our 7th American Idol! David C. won by 12 million votes - 97.5 million votes all together. Thoughts?
“I started this season — much to Simon’s chagrin — as the word nerd and I’m absolutely at a loss for words,” Cook told the crowd after hearing the news, referring to his love of vocabulary, which was highlighted in one of his earliest moments on the show. “Thank you guys. This is amazing. Thank you.” People.

I am so happy America got it right. YAY COOK!!!!!! Little David is wonderful but he has so much growing up to do so that those amazing songs he sings so beautifully already, will have even more understanding for him and he can do them real justice. David Cook is simply phenomenal. I love an artist’s artist and that is David C!! I’m so happy America got it right on AI!!! I can’t wait for his album, and I look forward to seeing lil’ David as a mega star on Disney or Broadway!
