Usher Called A “Diva”!

Usher’s edited performance of his hit single Love In This Club last night on “Dancing With The Stars” (above) may have seemed flawless, but what supposedly happened behind the scenes at the May 13th taping is a whole different story. Usher arrived late, throwing the production team off schedule. Then as he lip-synched, he lost touch with his choreography, turning the wrong way once, the other time losing his mic. After both mistakes he walked off stage. He then took a long break to “get a drink”. “He was ridiculous,” a source tells PEOPLE. “Such a diva.” The crew then only had 15 minutes to prepare for the live show. “There was a lot of holdup. We almost didn’t make it.” a source says. I wonder what was going on with Usher? Maybe he was a little tired or had a lot on his mind. Maybe he just didn’t want to be there? I can’t get over someone calling him a “diva”! What grown married man and father wants to be called a “diva”?! That is pretty harsh don’t you think?

He probably was having a bad day. Then the pressures of performing live… Maybe he was a upset with himself for not getting the steps right during rehearsal. Usher is probably a perfectionist. I can relate if that was the case.

ive heard some bad stuff about usher. He might seem all lovey-dovey on tv but off camera he isnt such the nice man. I know someone who was at a beyonce concert which usher attanded, and when my friend tried to get his autograph usher sed “fuck off” and ignored him.

I JUST DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY HE LIPSUNG, BECAUSE BEYONCE DANCES HER ASS OFF ALL THE TIME ON STAGE AND STILL IS ABLE TO SING AND GIVE THE CROWD A TRULY AMAZING PERFORMANCE BUT WHATEVER OVERALL THE PERFORMANCE WAS GREAT IT WOULD OF BEEN BETTER IF HE WOULD OF ACTUALLY SUNG CUZ THOSE DANCE MOVES DO NOT LOOK THAT COMPLICATED AT ALL……

DIVO, yes…DIVA, not quite yet. Give him another baby and a sinking career and the claws will come out. They always do for most artists. Look at Kanye, a true DIVA.

Usher is just under a lot of pressure (baby, wife, new album, out of shape, and crumb snatchers like Chris Brown, Omarion, and Justin T trying to take his crown). All in all he ripped it though. I enjoyed the performance. It was Yeah Part 2 and even had some of the same moves from Yeah Part 1.

Evolve Ush…don’t recycle old moves with new songs on the tour.

My baby was just probably tired or wasn’t feeling it too much. He has a lot of things going on now. Wife, kid, new album, promotions, he’s human. But i do remember my brother tod me he was trying to get his autograph for me and Usher just said peace and walked out the door.

I’am so over Usher like he is so overrated. I wish I could personally tell him too sit his ass down.

Like yeah Usher is SEXY duh and a talented singer and dancer but his routine is all getting a bit old too me.

It feels like i’ve seen this all before with his previous albums. The dances look reused and the music sounds like the same songs with the words mixed up.

Diva really? Probably not. More like free publicity planted to get people talking about him.

If he was really doing all that, he was probably embarrassed at messing up like someone else said.

I’ve run into Usher a couple of times in Atlanta. He’s always been very nice.

A DIVA he is! I have called him and P. Diddy DIVA’s a many of times because they act like self-centered, spoiled women at times.

i had 2 watch dat performance 2wice cause i didnt c anyfing wrong wit da choreography. IT WAS EVEN BETTER PERFORMED DAN IT WAS IN DA ACTUAL VIDEO!!!! anyway i loved it. he also performed his hit yeah! dat was really gd 2.
