Movie Review: Baby Mama
April 30, 2008
Love muffins, I just have to tell you about the new #1 hit movie Baby Mama. Wow! This movie was extremely funny to me and I expected nothing less from Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. Those two have super duper amazing chemistry together and it was great to see them in another movie after their hit movie Mean Girls. To summarize the movie, Kate Holbrook (Tina Fey) is unable to have children. So she decides to let Angie Ostrowiski (Amy Poehler) be the surrogate mother of her child. Angie just seems to not have manners, and her attitude towards everything is like that of a small child. I remember sticking gum underneath my desk at school, but Angie is a grown woman. Oh and the peeing in the sink scene, hilarious! Who wouldn’t do that if you have to go really bad and the toilet is occupied (unless you have a disposal cup). The sink can be bleached out love muffins; however, just remember to bleach before you brush your teeth because your tooth brush might fall in your urine. I do recommend that you see this movie. Let me know if you like the movie.

Amy was some kind of cha cha mess in this movie! I love her! “Bitch, I don’t know your life!” HAHA
Also, her styling was super cute. I love her with the whole Urban Outfitters look.
I forgot that they wrote “Mean Girls”. I love that movie. I am gonna have to check out “Baby Momma”.
Saw this Friday night - my gf and I were in stitches it was so hilarious! What about the, “please don’t adopt a black baby” comment? At first I was like, “umm what?” then I just bust out laughing. It was really entertaining - worth the price of the ticket and had plot turns I didn’t expect which is always a plus for me.
Thank you for that recommendation. I was sooo anticipating this film, but then two seperate critics said that while it was funny, it was predictable and took the easy route by playing on stereotypes. They really burst my bubble. Now that you’ve said it’s funny, I’m going to go check it out. I looks like it’s going to be hysterical.
Did anyone see Mr. Woodcock? I nearly peed on myself that movie was so funny. I was looking for this one to be like that.
