Lawyers In Britney Spears Case Get Paid..

.. super duper big time! A Los Angeles court on Thursday ordered payment of nearly $400,000 to the several lawyers involved in Britney Spears’s affairs, all of which the pop star will be paying for! Can we say over compensated to the fullest, I mean really! (B. Scott just shaking his head at the lawyers for taking advantage of Brit-Brit to get her coins and dollars!)
All the attorneys have been working on the case for less than three months. Samuel Ingham, Spears’s court-appointed attorney, will continue to receive $10,000 a week, Commissioner Reva Goetz ruled. Andrew Wallet, the co-conservator of Spears’s finances, will receive an advance of $100,000. (Wallet had not been paid since becoming involved last February.). The firm which won Jamie Spears control of his daughter’s affairs will also be advanced $175,000, and a lawyer representing Britney’s brother Bryan Spears will get $22,500, while Stacy Phillips, Britney’s new divorce lawyer, will receive $75,000. The singer’s father and Wallet remain in control of her life until a July 31 hearing. - People

Nobody really cares about their fellow man. Okay everyone knows she needed help, but to rape her in legal fees for EVERYONE she’s involved with is just unjustified. So basically she’s paying all of these people (lawyers included) to be in her life, including her family. Sick, sick, sick. Does anyone do anything out of pure LOVE anymore?

Please - this is the price of fame. $400,000 to save a $175,000,000 fortune is a small price to pay. And trust lawyers don’t come cheap at all so I understand this. They’re dealing with complex finances. Let’s hope that “Brit Brit” comes out a more aware celebrity after this.
