Crowded Japanese Train Craziness!

April 12, 2008

Jesus take the wheel, so you think your train or subway is often crowded? In Japan it’s even worse, check out this video of a train departing during rush hour (6:30 AM)! Thanks Reny for sending this to me!

    Nooooo WAY! hahahaha!

I thought the trains in NYC were bad. I’ve commuted for years in Manhattan and during rush hour it could get like this. In NY the conductors don’t tolerate it…they’ll tell you to wait for the next train. The workers on this train in the video are actually pushing the commuters in….HILARIOUS!

I remember one time this lady couldn’t fit in the train and kept her foot in the door…The conductor announced on the overhead system “miss, please get your sizes 10’s out the door”.
Everyone on the train was laughing…talk about embarrassing.

Actually FORCING AND PUSHING folks into a subway train??? What in the hell do you get paid to do some ish like that? Oh, and if I was the ’size 10′ I’m sure I would have been going off like Naomi of in this piece…

I live here in NYC - now that I think about it, although I STILL think that the trains suck here, its alot better here than it is in Japan. DAYUM!! Why the hell you gonna push people up in the train like sardines?? Imagine if there were a sick passenger up in that piece? OMG…

That’s why in NYC they say “there is another train behind this one, if you can’t fit, step off of the train and catch the train behind this one” then they end the speech with “stand clear to closing doors”.

I’m glad I don’t live in Japan. Jeez.

I had to watch it again…do people have to go through training for this type of job?? This is pure foolishness right here.

I am in a state of shock. What the heck is going on? How could that be legal? I know somebody in that train has a broken limb or something because they smash up like playdough. Y’all watch it again and look at the man turned sideways just slowly melting into the train. THAT IS A MESS!

With all the funk on the NYC trains, I’d be a dead, hot mess by now if we had to go thru that! Somebody would’ve been stabbed or shot by now! LOL…wow…

Notice how their trains look exactly like ours (NYC trains)? I take the trains every single day (most of the time to work and then back home to the Bronx). Our trains were always made in Japan and shipped over to the states.

If you notice the name on the inside of the train, you will see that it did come from Japan. But somehow it made it over to Quebec, Canada first and then over to NYC.

Anyway, just wanted to point that out.

The redbird trains that used to run in NYC from the early 1980s up until the 21st century were also made in Japan. The silver upgraded trains that we ride now (and yes with a computer and voice system) - still from Japan.

Oh yeah - now the name pops up in my head -

The name you may see on the inside of the NYC trains is “Kawasaki”. Kawasaki is a very popular name.

Oh hell to the naw!! i would of been swinging on somebody!People tend to do that here in nyc but the conductors dont be playing! I live in flushing queens and its full of asians.. and i always wondered why at times they like to be all up on you even when theres enough space for you walk! i guess its cuz in their country their so use to being all up on top of eachother since its overpopulated that it probably makes them feel like their back home!

Ha! I wonder what they do if someone in the middle has to get off at the next stop?

  16. Erica NicoleNo Gravatar on April 13, 2008 at 1:05 pm #

@ Tiffany, LOL girl! They need to be reminded sometime lol. “You up in da hood na! Don’t pull dat mess!” LOL

  17. Erica NicoleNo Gravatar on April 13, 2008 at 1:07 pm #

@ Trish: LMAOOOOO!!! “Siz 10’s”, you knowwwww that bitch was embarrassed! LOL. If she took her damn foot out the door in the first place, she would not have been put on the MF spot LOL.

Some peeps in NYC are crazy though - they’ll do anything to get an arm, or a leg, or even a “size 10″ LOL up in the train.

Like the saying goes, if you want to get to your destination on time? WAKE UP EARLIER you lazy asses lol. :P

Stronger work ethic in Japan than in US = smooshed faces, crooked wigs, and funky breath in ya mug during morning commute.
