Update: This story apparently was an April’s Fools love muffins, thoughts?

Love muffins, it looks like Janet will be releasing another version of “Rock With U” because she is unhappy with the version that is out now! Take me higher lord! I can’t wait to see the new video! I am so super duper excited right now!

Although the dancing was great in the last vid, I think she may not have liked it too much because there was too much darkness in it (you know wearing too much black, the black overtones, etc etc.) Its a happy song, yet the video portrayed some sort of darkness in it. I can understand why she is doing it over though :). Not saying that’s what she thinks (because I don’t know what goes on in someone’s mind, I don’t have those kind of powers lol) but just analyzing the situation from my point of view on why its being remade ;).

it was way too dark. but i still liked it though. did yall notice the drag queens on the floor? lol just asking. but yeah why re-do and not just move on with “rollercoaster” or “luv”?

Feedback was a good video… It’s just not in line with “American” music videos. Overseas, the video fits right in. WE Americans need to broaden our outlook on things.

That’s good news. The whole concept was off. The darkness and the wig that made her look like a 50 year-old grandma. I also agree that Feedback was a little too light on the dancing. I want to see my girl moving in every video for every dance song.

this just seems too much like some kelly rowland “try again” type stuff. shes got plenty of other singles to do vids for. well at least she had the #1 album first week.

When I first heard “Rock With U”, I envisioned a video of her in Chicago at a skating rink having fun with her friends and a guy giving her the eye as he skated around her.

And then when I saw her choreography on Good Morning America (I was RIGHT in front of the stage), it was in line with my original vision. Hopefully the remake will be a video with a lot more dancing.

Yes people I agree, I love me some Janet, but this vid could have been so much better. Can’t wait to see what she comes with next time.

I don’t buy the hype at all… Its not like this song is being promoted or pushed too much as is so why would they spend additional money to revamp it??? YAWN!

Really? WOW. I actually liked the video - although it was a bit dark/hard to see at times. I read somewhere else that there really will be a video for the “Feedback” remix with that other gal. I don’t know what to think anymore. This album is hot. I hope she doesn’t blow it.

I received the email & my first thought was why, what is she trying to do. Is she trying to be more mainstream? I loved the video. So I’m happy.

Whoever brought up the idea of America’s narrow sense of musical taste is so on point. Made me think of Kylie Minogue releasing her X album here & the song they are promoting is All I See, one of the most simple, least interesting songs on her cd, although I love it now. Janet’s songs are more mainstream than usual, just not typical, simple & lazy.
