Vivica A. Fox Debuts A New Show?

VH1 will debut a new series with Vivica A. Fox this Summer entitled Glam God with Vivica A. Fox.

According to Broadcasting & Cable, “Vivica is a movie star and a fashion icon who knows how to step onto the red carpet and nail it every single time,” VH1 executive vice president of original programming and production Jeff Olde said in a statement. “Her instincts are impeccable and she knows how critical it is to have a ‘glam god’ she can trust to create a star-making killer look. We are thrilled that we have her vision and insights to drive this show.”

Contestants will compete in challenges designed to test their knowledge of fashion and style, covering everything from hairstyles to trendy clothing. The winner of the series will get $100,000 and the chance to become a personal stylist to an A-list celebrity.

T.I. Pleads Guilty To Weapons Charges!

Rapper T.I. has pleaded guilty to federal weapons possession charges, and is to be sentenced in one year, after completing a period of community service. In the year that he is awaiting sentencing, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, must complete at least 1,000 hours of a total 1,500 hours of community service, talking to youth groups about the pitfalls of guns, gangs and drugs. He pleaded guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm, possession of machine guns and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. ~ CNN

Leona Lewis Scores First U.S. No. 1 Hit!

Already a chart-topper in her native U.K., Leona Lewis scores her first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 this week with “Bleeding Love,” which zooms 8-1. She’s the first female to take her inaugural single to the top of this tally since Fergie’s “London Bridge” in 2006. “Bleeding Love” is also No. 1 on Hot Digital Songs after selling 219,000 downloads, up 82%. Britney Spears Is Really Pulling It Together!

It seems like all our positive energy has worked love muffins, there are reports that Britney Spears is opening her own dance studio, possibly hosting the Kids Choice Awards and is currently in talks for her own CBS sitcom! As if that wasn’t enough, the lead role of Blanche DuBois has been offered to Brit-Brit by the producers of a new revival of ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ in London. If she signs on to do the role, she would follow in the footsteps of Vivien Leigh, Jessica Lange, Jessica Tandy, Tallulah Bankhead and Glenn Close.

According Showbiz Spy, “Britney’s been on the list for this for some time but was considered too risky until her recently. Her appearance in the American TV show How I Met You Mother changed all that. She had poise, timing and real flair. We wanted her for Blanche because, even though she’s technically too young to play her, who else could embody this fallen Southern Belle so well? She’s living out the story, so to harness that on stage would be amazing for an audience to see — and cathartic for Britney, too.”

Note: Britney Spears’ guest appearance on ‘How I Met Your Mother’ on Monday night helped the comedy achieve its highest viewership of the season, increasing the chances that the show will be renewed for a fourth season. Over 10 million viewers tuned in to watch Spears on the television show.

Remy Ma Goes To Jail!

Remy Ma was cuffed and taken away today after she was found guilty on four charges. SOHH reports that Remy cried, “Oh My God” as they escorted her out of the courtroom.

Remy was found guilty on charges of first-degree assault, attempted coercion, possession of a deadly weapon, and felony assault. She faces up to 25 years in the big house.

Remy shot a friend, Makeda Barnes-Joseph, last July after she accused the woman of taking $3,000 from her purse.

Another female rapper locked up. This is tragic! First Kim, then Foxy, now Remy. I’m starting to believe this is becoming a trend in the Hip-Hop community! What do you think Love Muffins?!
