On Friday, April 4, 2008, B. Scott of LoveBScott.com will kick off PRIDE Month at Yale University with a Love Muffin Master’s Tea sponsored by Silliman College, a PRIDE Meet-and-Greet at Geronimo Restaurant & a LoveBScott After-Party at Center Street Lounge.

B’s Master’s Tea will focus on the launch of his career as both an openly gay commentator and an up-and-coming celebrity of color. He will also touch upon the implications of the blog, YouTube and other forms of electronic dissemination that have been central to his trajectory.

The Master’s Tea will take place in Silliman College at four o’clock on Friday afternoon and will be followed by the evening’s festivities (7pm & 10:30pm, respectively). The After-Party is $3 with Yale ID, $7 otherwise.

    Hey B! I know you are a BIG name and all but I would just love if you came to Arkansas….Yes I said Arkansas…lol! I think someone like you is just what our community and our state needs! Homophobia is really big here and whats even worse is being on the DL is so much bigger. Its like no one can ever really come to terms that they are gay here and if they are open (like myself) they are constantly ridiculed and discriminated against. I think your powerful message of not only loving others but loving yourself will not fall on deaf ears. I mean thats what made me a instant love muffin! lol! But like you said if at least one person got something out of it your job is done…but please just think about it!

    Can’t wait to see you in person. I’m making the trip from Villanova University and I’m excited. My mom is slightly jealous because she is a love muffin also. Therefor, she requested that I take pics.
