    Oh yeahhhh!! You know something? Its so weird in a way…back in about 2004 I used to go to a night hangout spot called the Sugar Bar, which is owned by none other than Asford & Simpson…I no longer hang out there, but they had open mic night…she came there with her peeps…signed up to sing onstage, and she was the only one who did a country music song that SHE herself wrote (it was an original tune she did). And this was BEFORE she was big…I remember it like it was yesterday. People at the Sugar Bar knew that she would make it big.

    But yep, that is the same Rissi Palmer who signed up for open mic at the Sugar Bar on Thursday night in 2004 (or around there).

    Erica! Rissi is what Jill Scott would say is “The Real Thing”! I have seen her perform live twice and everytime I walk away with my soul touched and my heart wanting to hear more!! She is soo amazing, not just as a singer, but also as a person!! Add her on Facebook and on Myspace Music… She responds to EVERYONE!!!! Go get her album also!!!! Best gift I have bought myself in the past 5 years!

    I sure will!! She is the new face of country music..and you know something else? I usually don’t like country music lol, but she is definitely an exception. ;) Go Rissi girl!

    I love how they said “Move Over Carrie and Jessica”!!! That was pricless! Never heard of her until now, but she is really talented! What is her album called? Does anyone know? Going to amazon.com now!
