I like the whole concept of the album. The japanese-made kiyoko made it more spankin’!(She talks to a robot, creepy!) And the interludes in between songs are actually fun to have around. Although she sometimes sound like her old brother (Micheal Jackson) when she uses her natural voice. But the falsetto is her janet mark.

These are the songs that actually made it to my cut:
Feedback - the best track off discipline! Im surprised it only peaked at #51 on the billboards. It couldve gone up and cracked the top 20 in my opinion. Its the best choice for a lead track in any janet album.
P.S. Call on me peaked at #25? Ugh! That cant be good!

Rollercoaster - has that old 80’s Janet feel. That bass and the whole beat makes you just breakdown and creep in your bedroom. I could imagine breakdancers if ever a video is made for this.

Rock with U - ooohhh!! I likey this song!!! The ooh ooh part in the chorus is a classic Janet. You’re friend is right Mark! This song’s backround loop actually reminded me of “ever after” but more sophisticated.. This is my 2nd most fave track in the album. It could gain lots of airplays if released in the UK or Europe. It’s kind of a fantasy-futuristic-enkantadia-club track.

Cant be good - this is the song i’ll be playing if i came home from a hard day’s work and just wanna be alone in my bath tub with candles and incense. So relaxing and soothing..

The 1 - features Missy Elliot. Nuf said! Any record where you can find Missy on is on fire
    !

I was actually searching and expecting for another “everytime” song on there but the closest i could find is ‘the greatest X’ and i didnt even like this song. All-time Janet fave ko xe ang ‘everytime’.. She’s just effortless janet on that song. Instant classic.
    Bad tracks:
Discipline - this song is eeeww!! She sings about discipline in the most awkward sense. And the reference to her daddy is just eeeeewww!!!
Never Letchu Go - This is the quintessential of a filler track. Janet actually works best in ballads. But this one sucks! Big time!
Luv - nay! The beat is all over the place.
Overall id give it a 2.2 out of 8 stars.

P.S. I tried placing Touch My Body
at the end of all Janet’s Discipline songs and it actually outstand each and every track. And its not even Mariah’s best! Wow! That says alot!

“Overall id give it a 2.2 out of 8 stars.”

    ???

That, after saying how much you like this album? Are you insane?

I’d give it a 7/8. Not quite where she was in the mid-’90s, but I can’t blame her for that, and I’m loving almost every track on the album, including “Luv” and “Discipline.”

I can’t wait for it to drop, because even if I’ve heard everything, it will only sound better on CD.

I love janet jackson since the age of 4. And love this song because she uses her full voice and it’s beautiful. She should showcase her full voice more often. I love how her ID in the song before it starts is 0069. She’s nasty miss jackson. Loves it.
