Jam It Or Slam It? Usher - Love In The Club (Update)

Usher is coming out with his fifth studio album, Regret, later this year. What is rumored to be his first single has just leaked and I wanted to know what you thought of the song. It’s entitled “Love In This Club” and features a verse from Young Jeezy and production by Polow The Don. Jam It or Slam It.

SLAMI IT…Usher has gone down hill for me ever since 8701! I absolutely hated the confessions album except for a couple of tracks…and his sound is just not the same anymore..

not a good first single choice….it sounds more like an album filler….its not….captivating enough for me.

Like, I kept tryna really get into it…but I just couldn’t….that’s too bad.

I like it and usually I don’t like this type of song.
Young Jeezy wasn’t necessary. I liked the song less after I heard him. All in all it’s a good song.

Slam it …Ursh this is not what I was expecting after something as fabulous as the confessions album. You picked the right title-REGRET- B/c you’ll regret coming out with an album that doesn’t compete with confessions. SMH. Damn that Tameka Foster!

I remember listening to the snippet of this and said “okay, this is gonna be fire!!” The song right from the beginning started real lame. And of all rappers, he chose Jeezy to rap on the song. Please slam this mess in the garbage!!!

Slam it…Usher has been gone for a minute and will have to come harder than this…J.Holiday is now on the singing tip and Chris Brown on the dancing tip so in order to “recaptivate” his audience he will have to bring it hard…and this ain’t it~~

SLAM IT. And by being honest you take nothing away from Usher as an artist. But the arrangement of this song isn’t the best nor are the lyrics. I expect more from someone that claims to be a perfectionist.

It’s got a cute bounce to it, but really, it sounds like something from the late 90’s - that or a cheap Akon song.Def an album filler at the best.

I’m dissapointed - such a great artist.
