Top Psychologist Says “Britney Will Be Dead In 6 months!”

January 18, 2008

Dr. Lillian Glass, a top psychologist has predicted to the Globe Britney Spears’ death within in six months unless she gets treatment for chronic mood disorder cyclothymia. (Cyclothymic disorder is characterized by hypomanic and mini-depressive periods that last a few days, follow an irregular course, and are less severe than in bipolar disorder. Diagnosis is clinical and based on history. Management consists primarily of education, although some patients with functional impairment require drug therapy.)

I know you are wondering like I am, why this renowned psychologist would make such a horrible prediction at such a unstable time in the fallen pop-star’s life, she claims her prediction was made in hopes that Brit-Brit will seek immediate medical treatment.

“Unless Britney is locked away or put into a treatment program, she is going to die in six months - or even sooner. In my opinion, she suffers from cyclothymia, a chronic mood disorder in which short periods of mild depression are followed by short periods of hypomania,”

That explains why one minute she (Spears) can appear perfectly sane and the next she’s exhibiting totally crazy behaviour.” “She’s definitely a candidate for suicide if she isn’t treated immediately.”

Thoughts? Do you think she made this disturbing prediction to help Brit-Brit or rather for some type of personal gain?

Horrible… She is STILL ALIVE!!! Brit does need help… but predicting her death is like saying “well… you might as well give up”… where’s the positivity?

Sagine, I agree with you completly. How low do you have to sink to start placing bids on someones life. Everybody has these comments on how tiered they are of hearing about Britney, but every where you turn some one is talking about her. Remember the silent treatment… instead of focusing on everything she do, how about ignoring her. Without an audiance I don’t think she’d act the way she does. And those people who make these random comments and find themselves on talk shows giving interveiws about someone they don’t know… its to gain attention. Every head monkey wants to be a Dr. Phil, they want to be the next big thing. And instead of earning credibilty for there work, they jump on the band wagon and give a comment about Britney. My 3year old neice can give a comment about Brittney, try saying something real. To say that she will be dead in 6 months is cruel and if for what ever reason if she do, pat yourself on the back for asisting in her death.

Personal gain. I am not a fan of Britney’s at all (she can’t sing) but she aint that stupid. Nobody’s taking into account she had 2 babies, back to back, at an age when she personally wasn’t ready to be a wife or mother. It’s obvious that she wants to want motherhood and wants to be the kind of person who is just loving the baby thing, but has realized she’s not ready. So in order to get the “oh wtf did I do??” question out of her head..she tried to re-up her youth and party hard and act a damn fool. Unfortunately, bad habits are the easiest to incorporate into your lifestyle and the hardest to break.

Post pardem depression mixed with the papparazzi being all in her grill when she does anything significant or insignif has taken a toll on her. if she chilled out and took a step back from the limelight to organize her thoughts and priorities, she’d get to where she needs to be.

I agree with “Sagine”. That is horrible to sabotage someone’s life like that and dress it up like they are trying to help. I don’t know what is going on with these psychiatrist these days, Dr. Phil included. It is like they are trying to get their 15 minutes of fame instead of remaining true to their oath, which is to put clients or patients first. Even if they are not his clients legally, if this person wanted to help then they should have tried to contact Britney herself or family members not no damn Globe. Come on! I take this personally because I am studying Social Work/Psychology and plan on becoming a future therapist. I would never do anything like this to a person, much more an entertainer who is having enough problems already. And what is really a shame is that if God forbid she does die they won’t feel any form of guilt. Shame on them.

They would do anything to get to the news page. And my personal feeling is that I read too much lately about her. This is not news, is petty chat…

Just someone else riding the Britney train. These people are aching for the girl to die, I swear. It’s sad.

When has Britney ever appeared sane in the past year? That being said this person is clearly a quack. She doesn’t know when Britney is going to die.

im not feelin that fact that she made this sort of prediction..HOWEVER…..it’s true that Brit needs help, and she needs help real soon. But at the same time i feel that a lot of what she does is just for show…maybe she likes being the topic of discussion and seeing herself DAILY in the news. she needs to retreat far far away and get her mind right b4 she falls even deeper down her already spiraling hill!

    Oh puhlease..

Everyone is trying to capitalize from this girls misfortune.
Dr. Lillian Glass is a quack of no merit… much like Dr. Phil.

The fact that you’re predicting another human beings death to a magazine speaks volumes of your character. This “psychologist”, Dr. Lillian Glass, should’ve kept that trap shut, or AT LEAST had some decency to say what needs to be said: BRITNEY NEEDS HELP. I’m sick of fools adding more fuel to this raging fire we call Britney Spears.

People won’t be satisfied until she’s dead. That’s a MOTHERFUCKING shame. I think all the media outlets should just STOP paying Britney attention and let this chick get her life right. We have a presidential election coming up. All sorts of shit going on. Can’t even watch the LOCAL news without Brit Brit on it. I LIVE IN GEORGIA.

Her family needs to pay for her to get the fuck out of the United States.

I would love it if they left her dumb ass alone the problem is she doesn’t want to leave us alone. Leaving at 2 am to go Kitson? Come on now.

  12. Shann on January 18, 2008 at 11:24 pm #

Personal gain…how can you diagnose someone with a diease if you have never examined them? Granted Britt probably does have some issues, however this woman’s statement was very unprofessional and in my opinion without having Britney as a patient to observe and go over her current and past medical history this woman has based her “diagnosis” on speculation…

I think everybody sees Brit as a target of some kind. Of course she needs help. It seems like no one is getting her the help she needs. She can’t do it on her own. It is so sad to see her so fucked up. She keeps choosing the wrong people in her life and it’s sad. IT seems like the people who were suppose to love her gave up so much they don’t give a damn about her dying because clearly she will soon. These news reporters, paps, and everybody clogging her life up should be so ashamed because they are the main ones causing this girl to go psycho.

SHE’D HAVE BEEN OK IF MADONNA HAD NEVER KISSED HER AND IF SHE HADN’T BEEN TRYNA KEEP KEVIN’S FINEAZZ ON BOARD!

I first off can’t believe you would post something like this. I thought you were better than Perez Hilton ,but you are conforming to his beliefs as well. You have no heart in posting this.

What I think of this article as a whole, demonic spirits posses the minds of those who believe they actually have ben given the gift to predict death. I believe people have pshycic beliefs to certain degree.

Will Brit be dead in 6mons? No one knows but God

  16. Lauren on January 21, 2008 at 11:06 pm #

No one can say when Britney will die

But honestly, if she keeps acting like this, I do believe its a matter of time. I have a person in my family who is bipolar and isn’t getting help, so I know first hand how scary it is. It is a dangerous dangerous path to be on when you’re all alone
