Double Take! Mary-Kate Olsen or Carrie Underwood

Courtesy of the redcarpetfashionawards, we have Mary Kate Olsen who first rocked her own designs in this Elizabeth & James sequined dress to Zac Posen’s Spring 2007 Fashion Week After Party, accented by a super duper cute hippy hairstyle.

And then we have Carrie Underwood who also rocked the same sequined ensemble for her performance in Times Square on New Years Eve. The country diva combined the dress with a black scarf, a pair of tights, gloves and a pair of black Christian Louboutin Rolando’s. So the question is who rocked it better, Mary-Kate Olsen or Carrie Underwood?

Carrie is glowing. She looks gorgeous. MaryKate, has that usual cocaine whore look goin on… Not so much

Mary Kate wears it how its MEANT to be worn. For years to come this picture will look cool whereas with Carrie, although her hair is beautiful,her face glowing etc, the outfit will look really dated really quickly.
The green just doesn’t work, at least not on her, the whole look is too glamourpuss rather than its intention….its just not happening.

Mary Kate looks fun & elegant, I love the dress color; where as Carrie tried too hard & over did it. That look does not work for Carrie at all.

I say Carrie, but perhaps it’s because I’m more partial to deeper, richer tones than bright and funky tones.

Carrie Carrie Carrie beyond a shadow of a doubt. Her styling is heaven, especially with the Christian Louboutin pumps. It’s about the overall look.

Mary Kate looks like she’s 2 puffs away from rehab, she is not and never will be cute. It’s time for a rib plate baby.

obviously its m.k,
are we all looking at the same two pictures, carrie looks overdone and amazingly blonde.
whereas mary kate works the dress how its ment to be, her hair is beautiful and she pulls of the dress effortlessly.
it was not made to cling but to hang, and thats what shes done with it, stunning ox
