Hate It or Love It? Solange in Vegas

Solange Knowles made an appearance backstage at the Jay-Z concert at The Pearl in Las Vegas last weekend. We all know that Solange has a different taste in fashion, but I really don’t know how I feel about this get-up. I”ll leave it up to you, love muffins! Do we hate it or love it?

I don’t like it. I really really don’t. Something about the shirtdress that looks like a robe, and the stockings just don’t work for me. That is just my opinion. This is not a fave look for me.Looks to me as if Ms. Thang is trying way too hard.

The stockings aren’t the best… and I think she can do with some boots…

I love the tights but I hate the outfit it looks like nightwear which could be a good thing but in this case no way

Your Mom and Grandmother have made history in the sewing business. I want you to:

1. Go ask Tina how she likes that outfit.
2. Think of what your Grandmother would say to you if she were still with us.
3. Fire your hairdresser (please don’t tell me Tina did that to your head).
4. See number 3.
5. Give me back the robe to my nightie.
6. Let me borrow some sunglasses because you are blinding me with the ultra bright yellow.
7. Throw one shoe at the mirror…hit your self in the head with the other one.
8. See number 3.
9. Come to one of our church services—the Sisters will show you how to dress.
10. Thin those eyebrow out—you remind me of Oscar the Grouch with the ones you have now.

I do love you though. You can give me back my earrings too…I need those back.

I love everything she got on, I just don’t know if I would wear it all together, lol. Too much going on. I like Solange though. She’s a very pretty girl. I think I would have wore a more plain black shoe and belt.

She really is a cute girl. She has a bold fashion spirit. I love the stockings and the bag. The structued print on the stockings, the belt and bag are not enough to carry off the unstructured top. Maybe she should have worn her hair up.

I like it the overall look, especially the tights!!! But that dress MATERIAL has got to go, it looks too much like a robe. If it was a tad bit less shiny it would be HOT!!!

I don’t particularly love the outfit but I love Solange. She’s so open and free and she just goes hard. She has a “real” quality about her unlike her sister.

Beyonce has this image she has to keep up, while Solange is just being herself and I find her refreshing.

I actually think that it works. I would have like to see in a different shoe. The shoes are nice but I would have liked to see something less conventional since everything else is so vibrant. But yea, it works for me.
