Best Of 2007: Fashion Icons!
+ December 31, 2007
This year Cate Blanchett killed everyone with her stunning magazine covers and red carpet dresses. Her style classic, modern, and the epitome of glamour. No matter where she was this year, she always looked splendiferously stunning. Check out some of her eye-catching looks this year!
Honorable Mention:
I also have to give it up for Reese Witherspoon and Rihanna for serving up some major hotness every time their stilettos hit the red carpet this year. Reese’s style this year was sleek and sexy while Rihanna deserves to be on this list if only for bringing the bob back into style. These two fashionistas were definitely ones to watch this year.
Beyonce and Jennifer Garner also stood out in 2007 when it came to rocking fashionable threads. Jennifer Garner lost her baby weight and looked better than ever while Beyonce experimented with high fashion in a unique way this year.
Who do you think had the best fashion year in 2007!
Best Of 2007: Future Baby Daddy Of The Year!
+ December 31, 2007
I was mesmerized by many a future-baby-daddy (and their ding-ding’s) this year but there were a few that seemed to do it for me every time. Of all the men featured in 2007, there were three men that clearly took the cake. Although Shemar Moore was the first man to take my breath away, after seeing Marcus Patrick I really needed CPR, better yet mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. Click HERE to see just why Marcus Patrick is my man of the year!
David Beckham arrived stateside this year and with his Armani underwear campaign he showed that he truly has the “full package”. This year Matthew McConaughey was simply ASS-tastic. This man could not find a shirt to wear if his life depended on it but I’m not complaining one bit.

Other men that were off the hook this year were:
- Mario Lopez
- Shemar Moore
- Jonathan Rhys Myers
- Chris Evans
- Djimon Hounsou
- Adam Levine
Best Of 2007: Best Album!
+ December 31, 2007

As with any year, there were plenty of albums released in 2007. But only a few were able to tickle my fancy. Some of these albums moved my soul, others touched my spirit, and others just made me wanna hit the club house. In the end, I don’t really care how commercially successful the album was. The only thing I care about is if it made me groove. So here’s my list of 2007 best albums (in no particular order).
- Feist – The Reminder
- Mary J. Blige – Growing Pains
- Alicia Keys – As I Am
- Kanye West – Graduation
- Amy Winehouse – Back To Black
- Britney Spears – Blackout
- Jill Scott – The Real Thing: Words and Sounds Vol. 3
- Jay-Z - American Gangster
- Keyshia Cole - Just Like You
- Rihanna - Good Girl Gone Bad
- Kylie Minogue - X
So love muffins, Let me know which albums had you jammin’ this year?

What new star did it for you this year
Best Of 2007: Best Mugshot!
+ December 31, 2007
When celebrities do stupid things, sometimes they have to pay the consequences like everyone else. Sometimes that means they end up going to jail and having to take a mugshot without professional lighting or photographers. Oh the horror! Here are some of my favorite mugshots. (From Left-to-Right and Top-to-Down)
- OJ Simpson
- Paris Hilton
- Shia LeBoeuf
- Foxy Brown
- Jason Wahl (From Laguna Beach and The Hills)
- Kelis
- Joe Francis (Creator of Girls Gone Wild)
- Bobby Brown
- Kid Rock
- Keifer Southerland
- Lindsay Lohan
- Lisa Nowak (Crazy Astronaut Lady)
- Mischa Barton
- Nicole Richie
- Pitbull
Which of these mugshots is the most fab and which is most fug?
Best Of 2007: Biggest Diasappoints!
+ December 31, 2007
Being the optimist I am, I usually try to approach everything in life with a positive attitude but sometimes you gotta call a spade a spade. For every high expectation I had this year, there were equally horrible disappointment waiting around the corner. Nothing seemed to embody this sentiment more than Britney Spears at the VMAs. My Love Muffins know how I stuck my neck out for ther and then…well we all know what happened. Let’s hope next year ends on a more positive note. Here’s the video to remind you of the atrocity.
Here were the disappointments that topped the list.
- Britney Spears’ Horrendous VMA Performance
- Amy Winehouse Ruining Her Career Before It Ever Really Got Started
- Gwen Stefani’s Lackluster Sophmore Album “The Sweet Escape”
- Jessica Simpson’s Stalled Movie Career (If You Can Even Call It That)
- Nicole Scherzinger’s Failed Singles (”Whatever You Like”/”Baby Love”)
- Jennifer Lopez Movie and Album Disasters
- American Idol’s Horrible Season 6
Who or What Disappointed You Most This Year?
Best Of 2007: Best Song!
+ December 31, 2007
When it came to evaluate the best songs of 2007, I looked at all the songs that dominated the airways this year. These were the songs that served as the soundtrack to our lives and the tunes that we couldn’t run away from no matter how hard we tried. Of all the songs that topped the Billboard Top 100 Airways chart this year, only a select few were able to hold the title for longer than 3 weeks. Here they are (in the order in which they debuted on the chart this year)!
- Beyonce – Irreplaceable (8 weeks + 3 weeks in 2006)
- Akon – Don’t Matter (6 Weeks)
- T-Pain feat. Yung Joc – Buy U A Drink (Shawty Snappin’) (8 weeks)
- Rihanna feat. Jay-Z – Umbrella (4 weeks)
- Fergie – Big Girls Don’t Cry (7 weeks)
- Soulja Boy – Crank That (Soulja Boy) (3 weeks)
- Alicia Keys – No One (9 weeks and still counting)
So Love Muffins, Let me know which one you think was the best song of 2007!
