The Hills - Secrets Revealed!

It seems like there’s more than fake boobs on MTV’s The Hills and star, Lauren Conrad, finally admits that the show re-shoots its scenes “based on reality.”

After rumors that the show was scripted, Lauren made statements that The Hills was real, despite inconsistencies in the show that proved otherwise (see: LC’s different nail polish throughout scenes). Yet, she recently told Entertainment Weekly:

“Anyone who has worked on a reality show knows how they’re filmed,” Conrad says. “I basically had to go and call [Brody] again, have the exact same conversation on camera. I mean, it’s not lying to anyone, it’s telling what really happened, but it’s just the way they film reality shows.”

While Lauren Conrad sees nothing wrong with re-enacting the past and believes that everything they do still stays true to the character’s lives, she also says, “Basically what they’re doing is taking our lives and telling a story.”

Conrad said she’s not to blame if MTV’s camera aren’t around at every moment to capture these real, interesting moments in her life, but we’re pretty sure the producers have a heavy hand in when LC and Heidi randomly “meet-up.” Drama sells and gets you better ratings. That still doesn’t make you “real.”

   I have been waiting for SOMEBODY to admit that show was fake. So was Laguna Beach. Everything just sounds rehearsed.

   I always thought it wasn’t fake,cuz if it was scripted it would be more eventful.
