1. Drink This! “Vanilla Cider Martini” and “Herradura Stocking”
That’s right, there are two drinks for you this weekend. The Vanilla Cider Martini was a suggestion sent to us by our lovely love muffin Khadijah. It sounds like the perfect thing to take to an upcoming holiday party. As for the Herradura Stocking, well, there’s always a good time for tequila. Especially when it’s mixed with our favorite fruit—the pomegranate. Enjoy!

1.5 oz. Vanilla Stoli Vodka
3 oz. William’s Sonoma Spicy Cider Mix or any Spicy apple cider
Sugar and cinnamon mix (to rim glass)

Rim the glass with the cinnamon sugar mix. Heat the cider mix in the microwave until hot, but not boiling, and pour into your martini glass. Add the vodka and let the two mix naturally. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or caramel apple slice.

1.5 oz Herradura Silver
3 oz Pomegranate Juice
3 Pomegranate seeds for garnish

In a shaker with ice, add tequila and pomegranate juice. Shake for 10 seconds. Pour into a chilled martini glass. Add pomegranate seeds for garnish and serve.

2. Watch This! “I Know Who Killed Me”

It’s rainy and it’s cold in Los Angeles, which means it’s not even worth putting on your f*ck me pumps for the club. Why not indulge in a bad scary movie instead? Lindsay Lohan’s “I Know Who Killed Me” is out on DVD, so why not make it a Blockbuster Night.

3. Wear This! “The Ballerina”

You don’t have to use this month’s rent check as you stock up on boots for the winter because the ballerina flat is still a raging trend.

4. Hear This!

There are only two songs that really get us started for the weekend: Nicole Scherzinger’s “Steam” and Janelle Monae’s “Letting Go”. If Janelle’s smooth voice does not get you ready for that drive out of the office garage and back to your place to start the weekend right, then we don’t know what will!

5. Do This!

In LA, even on a Sunday, you can find a party. This weekend is the Fusion LGBT Film Festival, and B. Scott will be co-hosting the after party at Jimmy’s Lounge in Hollywood! All of our 21 and over love muffins should come out. Cost at the door is a $5 donation. RSVP at clubjuicyfruit@yahoo.com.

I saw that “I know who killed me” movie this weekend. It was… interesting. Still unsure how I feel about it. Although that apple cider martini sounds and looks good!
