Beyonce Rocked Balenciaga Closed Front Cage Sandals With Ankle Pads!

Take me higher lord, I had to respond to all the messages I received asking what label the shoes Beyonce rocked during her “Irreplaceable” performance with the Sugarland at Sunday’s 2007 American Music Awards belonged to. They are (drum-roll please) “Closed Front Cage Sandals With Ankle Pads” from the Fall ‘07 Balenciaga line and retail for $4,175 a pair!    Usually the very talented Nicolas Ghesquiere gets it right, but I’m not sure what he was thinking when he created the tragic Balenciaga fall shoe collection.

    Sorry but those shoes are “toe back”. They look like Lego Blocks. We should be paid $4K for looking at them. A twisted mind designed those shoes and someone with a hangover thought they were a good idea! Hate them!!!!

    I like them…they are funky and different. With the rubber padding, I bet they are mega-comfortable. Looks like a pump, feels like a sneaker!
