‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ Ratings Increased By 10 Percent!

Well I guess Iggygate was good for something other than disturbing me from seeing my normally funny “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”

Ratings for “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” were up almost 10 percent in the overnight Nielsens for the two days following her emotional breakdown…Those are just the preliminary numbers - the actual number of viewers may be much, much higher.

In other Iggygate news, The Smoking Gun has obtained and published a series of email exchanges between Ellen, her life-partner Portia de Rossi and Marina Baktis, the dog agency owner. From the e-mails seems like both sides were trying to make things work…but from this whole thing the phrase that i remember the most is one that Marina Baktis pronounced:”we will not give Iggy back,not after the way we were treated” With that phrase she made the whole subject about herself and not about the well-being of the dog…so spoiled brats on the one hand and “self-centered,-i’ll show YOU who has the power” on the other hand…it’s a tough call!
