I Love Dexter! I Do! I Do!

I just wanted to let you love muffins know that I love myself some Dexter! Next to HBO’s Rome this is my favorite series currently on cable! I developed a fondness for Michael C. Hall when he starred in Six Feet Under and now I absolutely adore him as Dexter Morgan. Dexter works as a forensics analyst specializing in bloodstain pattern analysis for the Miami-Dade Police Department who just so happens to be a serial killer that appeases his need to kill by killing other killers. Wow, what a concept! The series is based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay, which I will be reading shortly. Last season of Dexter (the first) plot centered around finding a serial killer that was terrorizing Miami and this season the tables have turned and now they’re hunting Dexter!

   omg.. i heard so much about this show i wanted to see it.

   my boyfriend and I caught it the other night, and wow.

   I’m so into this show now, great direction, great writing, blah blah… its so good!!!

   this show is almost EXACTLY like the Japanese cartoon called “Death Note”

   I don’t know if it’s Michael C. Hall that is finding great shows, but Dexter is a winner.

   Dexter is based on a series of books which came before Death Note, not a rip-off.
