Foxy Brown Gets a Year in the Slammer!

Foxy Brown will be spending the next year in a Rikers Island jail cell for violating her probation!

TMZ is reporting:

Judge Melissa Jackson slammed Foxy’s pleas for mercy, calling her a “great actress,” and saying that if this were the first time she’d apologized, she might be believable, but not now. We’re told that Foxy was visibly distraught by the verdict, and her mother refused to talk to reporters outside. Foxy originally was sentenced to the probation after an assault on two employees at a nail salon in Manhattan.

Damn, they locked the pregnant b@#ch up for a year! I kinda feel bad for her. If she serves the full term, Foxy will give birth in prison! what do you think love muffins?

See she must’ve thought her status was on some Paris/Lohan/Richie level. Nothing like a good wake up call. Perhaps Nypd aint like the Lapd and they aint having those antics up here (im in brooklyn). I’ll pray for her nevertheless cause she’s misguided and no one should give birth in jail. So Lord make her better and get her up out of there. Amen

she got the time cause she was stupid…. she thought she could do whatever she wanted, htat the rules did not apply to her.

I think the judicial system is racist. How can Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie get over for dui’s & things and the Ill Na Na go to jail FOR A YEAR over breaking her probation?

Looks like white is right and black still must step back.

I totally agree with LA2ATL…that’s some bullshit…she gets time for continuosly kickin people’s asses (albeit in the most random of ways…throwing cell phone??? WTF) maybe if she was coked up and takin shots of patron while driving she would get off with a slap on the wrist…

PS i read reports that she said she isnt preg…idk…lovebscott staffers might wanna look into that

i’m so torn. she should pay for her crimes, but not excessively so. and furthermore, i find it hard to belive that the judge is just THAT inconsiderate of her pregnancy. is she pregnant? she’s been there a minute. how can lindsay lohan get off with hiding in rehab and doing 1 day(?) for driving drunk REPEATEDLY and have COKE on her? if LiLo can make “special arrangements”, why can foxy not do house arrest until her baby/fake baby is born? i have no mroe words……

Off topic, I like her eye shadow. I try not to read about her antics when they’re mentioned in the paper or on the web. She’s one of those people who’s enforces a negative stereotype - for hip hop, for divas, for women of color…

Off topic as well, the eye shadow is very 70ish. Reminds me of dark skinned chicks you saw in blaxploitation films.

First money is power, she doesn’t have it. Second, she ain’t a Hollywood princess or model. Third, she knows better as a grown woman. Tantrums are for children. You can’t go off hitting people with things without dealing with consequences.

She better do like Lil Kim and be on her best behavior so she can get out early. Not to mention, at least LK got to go to Philly to serve her time. People kill me thinking they are untouchable. She did it once, and again, and again. She is too old to be told. I betcha she wishes she had Blackberries to throw cause Rikers is no joke. She will get dealt with by some female in there who don’t even know her but probably can’t stand her. Damn Fox, a year in Rikers!! I hope you can get that prison changed, boo-boo.
