BET Fashion Run Down Continued…

1. Ciara looked beyond del.ic.ious at the awards. However, the camera angles (tv & photogs) were not getting her dress from the best angle and therefore not showing the full effect of her ensemble. She was haute.

2. Diana Ross got special treatment with a tribute portion at the awards. I can’t hate on the longlasting Diva. She looks great at age 63!

3. Lil’ Kim looked cute and cuddly yesterday on the red carpet. It was so good to see her perform with Diddy for the remix of “Last Night”. But with all the other fashion heavy weights, she was lost in the shuffle.

4. Queen Latifah looked stellar as she rocked the red carpet and served as a presenter. Her & Mo’Nique definitely hold strong to the saying “Watch out for the big girls” because they are a force to be wreckoned with!

5. The award for best “No, No - Please Try Again” goes to Vivica “Tight Eyez” Fox. What was that?

Eve looked amazing in her peformance with Kelly and the ladies of Destiny’s Child. However, her main red carpet garb was less than average for the usually trendy fashionista.

Beyoncé Mimics Kylie Minogue - Still The Queen Of Rip-Off!

It’s Kylie Minogue’s opening performance of “Come Into My World” dressed as the “Queen of Metropolis” during her 2002 Fever Tour. Below, we have the video of Beyoncé’s performance on the BET Awards.

BET Fashion Run Down: Beyonce, Destiny’s Child & Rihanna!

1. Rihanna & Beyonce both looked orgasmic but Rihanna outdid Beyonce with her radiant personality and the simplistic elegance of her dress.

2. Rihanna held it down. She is glowing with perfection and splendiferousness!

3. Beyonce murdered her performance & her outfit was robo-fantastic with a touch of glittery goddess. She should have been singing live though and not on a track. Regardless, fierce.

4. Beyonce, Michelle & Kelly looked like a Destiny’s treat last nite. It was so amazing to see them all together again on stage.

Kanye West New Video: Stronger!

Kanye West has a new video for “Stronger”. I love, love, love the song but the video had me underwhelmed. Cassie is the lead video girl for the futuristic feel but my main question is: why? She’s cute but the video could have done without. What do you think love muffins?

Paris Hilton Tells All To People

Paris has conducted an exclusive interview for People Magazine and here’s what she said.

Paris comments on her response to being in jail:

“I was basically in the fetal position, basically in hysterics. All of the inmates were very supportive. There were girls next to me. We could talk through the vents and they were just really sweet.”

Does Paris have a medication?

“The doctors were observing me while I was there. They explained to Sheriff [Lee] Baca that they thought I was having severe anxiety, panic attacks, claustrophobia.”

Has Paris really changed?

“They’re wrong and they don’t know me. I’m a good person. I’m a compassionate person. I have a big heart. I’m sincere, and they’ll see.”

Everybody’s going to cop that iPhone when it drops on June 29th, which is just a few days away. And you’re not a follower. So here are a few other options for people who want that sexy tech-y piece without jumping on the band wagon.

Get your texts, photos and Internet in this new Motorola Rizr Z8. And it has a cute curved sliding design, which is very different than all of the other sliders on the market, angling the screen a bit as you text. It has the standard 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth capabilities, messaging, email and a music player. With a price tag around $600.00, it’s definitely worth a pretty penny. Interested? The T-Mobile Wing is just a bit different from the Dash and the Sidekick. It’s the company’s newest all-in-one mechanism, and you can still program in your top five faves. Toss in the 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth capability, web browsing and a full QWERTY keyboard for messaging and emails, and it could really battle with the big boys this summer. It’s not as small as the Pearl (which could be a good thing for some people), but it’s super sleek and carries on the classic name and features of the Blackberry. The Blackberry Curve is on the market, and it’s causing a stir. You still can’t record video, but with the silver and black exterior, full QWERTY keyboard, 2 megapixel camera, bluetooth capability and of course its own emailing system. We told you about the LG Prada phone a while ago in a previous post, and there’s still buzz about this designer cellular device. It costs quite a pretty penny coming in around $800, but some people are willing to drop that kind of cash for this touch screen device. Unfortunately, it’s not compatible with American cell technology, so we’d only recommend you drop your coins for this one if you’re a hob nobbing jet setter who can actually make use of it abroad.

The Samsung F700 popped up not too long after Apple announced the release of the iPhone. There’s no built in iPod, but it has a similarly designed touch screen, an additional full QWERTY keyboard and 5 megapixel camera (impressive!). It also comes with the standard messaging, email, web browsing and music player options as all the other smart phones. It’s a compact slider with the ability to challenge what Apple set up to be the epitome of all combination cellular devices. Although there have not been many Helios spotted out on the streets near us, it would only be right to mention the Helio Ocean version of the smart phone. It’s a bit larger than the average coming in at just over 5.5 oz., but that would only make sense when you find out that it has two keyboards—a numeric one for dialing and a QWERTY set for everything else. Bluetooth, 2 megapixel camera capabilities, all the messaging and email you could ever want, video recording and a music player—it’s a good starter for anyone who’s ready to put their toe in the smart phone for about $300-$400.
