The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert DVD Screening!
+ May 31, 2007
As previously reported, I attended the The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert DVD screening last night at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theater! I honestly was so excited to celebrate this fabulous gay cult hit which is going to be released on DVD, June 5th! The “Extra Frills Edition” DVD is going include the behind the scenes and hours of spectacular features from the movie. I had the pleasure of meeting the splendiferous Perez Hilton (celebrity blogger) and Tim Chappel (Costume Designer for the movie).
During my interview with Tim, he revealed that he only had “a $12,000 budget to create all the costumes for the movie,” which meant he used “a lot of glue and prayer!” I also had a conversation with Perez who hosted the event and we talked about his upcoming projects which include writing a book and a sponsoring a music concert tour. All in all I had a splendiferous time and walked away with an advance copy of the DVD!
Please go out and buy the “Extra Frills Edition” of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert on June 5th!

The View’s Revolving Door!
+ May 31, 2007
Considering the recent departure of the ever-controversial Rosie O’Donnell, I felt it was as good a time as any to examine the many hosts that have a come and gone through The View since it began ten years ago. They’ve had more ladies sit on that couch than Hugh Hefner. Barbara Walter’s famous foursome has done nothing to dispel the myth that women are catty and can’t work together. Here’s the rundown…
Debbie Matenopoulos:
In 1997 after a chance meeting with Barbara Walters she became a co-host on Walters’s new talk show The View. In 1999 she was abruptly fired from the show. This chick didn’t stay down for long. She dusted her self off and now you can see her as co-host of The Daily 10 weekdays on E!. She even did a guest-hosted on The View earlier this year to bury the hatchet. I guess there is life after getting fired by the Big B.
Lisa Ling:
Debbie’s replacement was Lisa Ling. But she didn’t last long either. Unlike Debbie she wasn’t fired but left the show towards the end of 2002 to go back to international reporting. Now she host National Geographic Explorer and covers international humane stories for several programs including Oprah Winfrey. When it comes to the Big O versus the Big B, I think we all know who wins that one.
Meredith Vierra:
When Katie Couric left The Today Show, NBC quickly came calling for Meredith. She had her start in hard-core journalism but had been living it up on The View for 9 long years. She left last year and made her way for the peacock network with much success. If you don’t believe she’s happy with the move, just watch her face light up when she reports on The View’s shenanigans each morning. Clearly Meredith has moved on! Katie who???
Star Jones:
Who could forget Star Jones? She had been with the show since its inception but once she started losing weight, she went crazy. Next thing you know she was dating a gay guy and getting underhanded deals for her wedding. Her approval ratings went down and she was quickly booted. Not long after Meredith Viera’s announcement, Star Jones also let America know she would be leaving The View, however, she did conveniently forget to mention that she was fired! Now it’s all good and the slimmed-down Star will return to her roots at Court TV as the new Executive Editor of their daytime programming and will host a daily daytime live talk show based on the law and pop culture.
Chin up Rosie—Life after The View ain’t so bad. Leaving them crazy bitches was probably the best thing you ever did!
Jennifer Aniston Has A New ‘Friend’
+ May 31, 2007
On Memorial Day weekend, Jennifer Aniston was spotted at Santa Monica’s One Pico restaurant with an unidentified sand-haired gentleman. Aniston, who has been single since her October split with Vince Vaughn, has remained extremely private about her love life. However, after bystanders observed this mystery man massaging her back and being very playful with the former ‘Friend,’ one thing is for sure–she seems happy!
Hilarious Outtake From Knocked Up!
+ May 31, 2007
This is an deleted scene from the new movie Knocked Up! If this was deleted from the movie, I can’t imagine what they kept in. It’s directed by the same guy who did 40 Year Old Virgin. That film was funny but this seems way funnier. Plus Katherine Heigl is a doll!
I guess we’ll have to see when it hits theaters tomorrow!

MTV’s Real World: Vegas Revisited!
+ May 31, 2007
Last night’s episode of Real World: Vegas Revisited was so crazy! At first the idea of bringing back an old cast was extremely whack and boring. However, now it appears to be orgasmically dramatical! Arissa is not playing games and Irulan is not feeling her former bff anymore. The two of them have an obvious drama with the bicep-building Alton who is all smiles on the surface, but you can’t help but notice that there is a bad boy lurking underneath. Brynn’s baby makes an appearance and crazies Steven, Trishelle and Frank make apperances as well. This season is going to be interesting after all. Tune in Wednesdays at 10 pm on MTV!

Nicole Richie & Paris Hilton Are Hilarious!
+ May 31, 2007
This clip from the The Simple Life “Goes to Camp” is freaking outrageous, but in a good way! Whoever came up with the idea to have Nicole & Paris performing Colonixs is a genius!
