Anna Wintour, the Editor-in-Chief of the U.S. edition of Vogue (a position she has held since 1988), is unequivocally The BADDEST BITCH IN THE GAME! Period. Like her predecessor Diana Vreeland, she has become a fashion icon in her own right with her signature bob haircut and sunglasses worn indoors. In addition to Vogue her life has created two of my favorite things in the world since apple pie, which are The Devil Wears Prada and Ugly Betty.
A former personal assistant of hers, Lauren Weisberger, wrote the 2003 bestselling roman á clef The Devil Wears Prada, which was later made into a successful film starring Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, a fashion editor widely believed to be based on Wintour.
Ugly Betty a Golden Globe, SAG and DGA Awards-winning television dramedy series starring America Ferrera and Eric Mabius is a overly dramatic representation of a day in the life of Anna Wintour! If your life can inspire such greatness, then you my dear Anna Wintour are the Coup d’état of all Coup d’états!
